Twelve "Resilience Stretches" provide opportunities to reflect on, repair, and prepare for resilience to stress. The Stretches include four components of Resilience (Safe, Grateful, Capable and Meaningful) and four components of Resourcefulness (Access to Resources, Social Support, Skills & Knowledge, and Resilience), and four ways to implement polyvagal coping ('Belly-Button-Breathing', Collaborative Hands, Listening, and BBB for rest and sleep. Each stretch includes ten counts of diaphragmatic breathing, a verbal affirmation, imagery, and a body movement to experience the stretch. Separate documents provide a Stretch Text elaborating each stretch. Future uploads include bibliography, video demonstration, handouts for parents, and learning modules on trauma/resilience-informed practice, resilience, resourcefulness.
